Venna Organizer Terms
Effective from: 27 October 2026 · Version 1.0
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use Venna as an organizer: a business, association or person who publishes events on Venna through an organizer account. They apply in addition to Venna's terms of use (venna.se/terms). If they conflict, these organizer terms prevail. The agreement is with Venna Platform AB, reg. no. 559586-9073, Rosendalsvägen 27 G lgh 1212, 756 44 Uppsala, Sweden, support@venna.se. How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy (venna.se/privacy).
Being an organizer on Venna is free.
2. What Venna does for you
Venna shows your events to people who may be interested in them: on the map, in Discover and For You, on your profile and through shared links. Visitors can save, follow and plan to go with friends. Your public events – what you publish for Everyone (Who can see this? → Everyone), and events that Venna fetches from public sources – are shown to everyone and made searchable on Venna, including with Venna AI. Events for Friends, Invited or Members are never public.
- Venna does not sell tickets. The purchase is made with you or your ticketing platform. Venna is not a party to the purchase.
- Venna may receive a commission when someone buys tickets through some of our links to ticketing platforms, including for your events. This is shown in the app. It costs you nothing and does not affect how your events are shown.
3. The organizer account
- An account is either an organizer account or a personal account, never both. To use Venna privately you need a separate personal account.
- An organizer account has one organizer profile.
- Whoever creates the account confirms that they have the right to represent the organization.
- Contact options: the profile can show a website, email, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and another link. For social media you type the name or paste the link. Publicly only the platform's logo is shown, and a tap opens the profile there.
- You are responsible for signing in and for everything done in the account.
4. Verification
- Verified status is given to whoever confirms a code sent to an email address on the organization's own domain, or signs in with a Google account on that domain. Venna may also verify a profile after its own review. The domain must match the organization's website or email address at the source, on the profile or in Venna's register of organization domains. An address with a general email service (for example Gmail or Outlook) can never verify.
- A verified profile gets the Verified badge.
- The number of events that can be published per day is limited, for all profiles, to protect the service. The limit is high enough for normal use. When a programme is read in, the limit is higher for verified profiles. An unverified profile can read in its whole programme as drafts. Others only see that the badge is missing.
- If you change your email to a different domain, the badge may disappear, and the limit for unverified profiles applies again until you verify again.
5. Auto-profiles and takeover
- Auto-profile: when a ticketing platform or another public source publishes events with a named organizer, Venna shows a profile with the name, the town (if the source gives it) and the upcoming events. The profile shows that it was created automatically and from which source.
- Take over: an organizer can take over its auto-profile in the app or on the website. The takeover takes effect immediately. Venna reviews it afterwards and may approve it or reverse it. If we reverse it, the profile goes back to being an auto-profile, the followers are moved back and the events added after the takeover are hidden. You get a notice with the reason and the way to reach support@.
- An organizer with events in many towns (for example a touring production or a group) cannot be taken over automatically. Contact support@.
- Taking over a profile that is not yours breaks these terms. Section 11 applies.
- If you do not want to appear on Venna: write to support@venna.se from the organization's address. We will then remove the auto-profile and hide your events from the sources, even if you have not taken over the profile.
6. Your events
6.1 Events you create in Venna you edit freely. You decide on capacity, approval of attendees and event chat. You can cancel and delete them.
6.2 Events from a source (for example a ticketing platform) are fetched and updated automatically. The purchase details (time, place, price, ticket link) are changed at the source, and then they change in Venna. You can correct the category, map pin and tags. Your correction stays even when the source updates the event. For some sources you can mark the event as sold out. Events from a source are cancelled and deleted at the source.
6.3 Requirements for your events. Events must be real, actually take place and be accurate: time, place, price, age limit and ticket link. The ticket link must lead to a real purchase. The community rules in the terms of use (section 6) apply to everything you publish. Digital events are not shown on Venna.
6.4 Rights to the content. You own what you publish: texts, images and logo. You give Venna the right to store, display, adapt (for example crop an image), make searchable and distribute it in Venna, on venna.se and in shared links and previews, for as long as it is on Venna. You confirm that you have the right to use it, for example the images.
6.5 Marketing. Venna may show your public events (title, time, place, image and the profile's name and logo) in Venna's own channels, for example social media, newsletters and venna.se, to promote the event and Venna. The organizer is always credited. If you do not want this: write to support@venna.se and we will stop. This does not apply to events fetched from a source that you have not published yourself.
7. Tools and your responsibility for them
- Read in and Venna AI give suggestions as drafts. Nothing is published automatically: you review and publish, and you are responsible for the text. Nothing you write or upload is sent to Venna AI before you have said yes. The only exception is public events: their title, place, organizer and description are made searchable for everyone on Venna, including with Venna AI. (See section 2.)
- Read in takes a link, an image, a PDF (up to 10 pages), a text or a calendar file (.ics). Pages on Facebook and Instagram cannot be read. If the event is already on Venna, you are told so instead of a duplicate being created.
- Send update reaches the people going to the event. It must be about the event, never other advertising, and the number per day is limited.
- The event chat you moderate yourself. Do so fairly and in line with the terms.
8. How events are shown (ranking)
Venna selects and orders events for each visitor. What weighs most is how well the event matches the visitor's interests and place and time. After that come friends' interest, how many have saved it or follow the organizer and how complete the event is (image, description, category, place and ticket link). The visitor's own filters and choices always come first. No payment affects the ranking. If we introduce paid visibility, it will be labelled as advertising, and you will be notified at least 15 days in advance.
9. Data and statistics
- You see aggregated statistics per event, for example reach, saves and clicks to the ticket, counted in Venna. You see who follows the profile, except those who have chosen not to be shown, and the attendee list for events you created and manage yourself. Otherwise you never see who the visitors are. The lists may only be used for the profile and the event.
- Venna uses what you publish and the statistics to run and improve the service, and never sells information about you or your visitors.
- When the agreement ends, your profile and your events are deleted as described in the privacy policy. Events from a source may remain as an auto-profile, unless you have asked us to hide them (section 5).
10. Limitations
- Venna is not responsible for your events, how they are carried out or the purchase.
- Venna cannot promise that the service is always available, or that an event will be shown to any particular person or number of people.
- Section 11 (liability) of the terms of use also applies here.
- This agreement does not prevent you from offering your events on other terms or in other channels.
11. Restriction, suspension and termination
- Venna may restrict the profile (for example hide events, remove the Verified badge or set limits), suspend it temporarily or terminate the agreement, if you break these terms or the law, if the profile has been taken over by someone who does not represent the organizer, in case of fraud, or if there is a risk to visitors.
- You get the reasons at the same time as a restriction or suspension takes effect: what applies, why, which rule it concerns, and how you can reply.
- If Venna terminates the agreement, you get notice with the reasons at least 30 days in advance. This does not apply if the law requires us to terminate immediately, if you have repeatedly broken the terms, or in case of fraud, illegal content or a risk to visitors' safety.
- You can terminate the agreement at any time by deleting the organizer account.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with a decision or anything else concerning your events: write to support@venna.se. A person reviews the matter, and you get a reply without undue delay. You can also go to the general courts of Sweden.
13. Changes
Venna announces changes to the organizer terms in the app or by email at least 15 days before they take effect, and longer if the change requires you to adapt. If you do not accept the change, you can terminate the agreement before it takes effect. Changes required by law, or to meet an urgent risk to the service or to visitors, may take effect immediately. The terms are never changed retroactively.
14. Law
Swedish law applies. Disputes are settled by the general courts of Sweden.
